Reunion News

Well, the 45th Reunion Picnic was a "Roaring" success. We had over 100 attendees.   There were classmates from 1963, 1964, 1966, 1968 and 1975 as well as our own 1965 friends.  Also three teachers; Couch Morrison, Jan Ross and Phyllis Hoffman were there.  Everyone looked great! The mixer games, the banana game and the balloon toss were great fun.  We also had many raffle prizes.  Thanks to all those who donated the prizes.  The weather was warm but with all the trees and the covered ramada it was a perfect day.  The meal was catered by the Park and it included chicken and BBQ ribs. It was yummy.  We also had cake and lots of different kinds of homemade cookies and goodies.

We did talk about doing something special for the 50th Reunion.  If anyone has ideas, let us know.

Check out the November pictures from the picnic and the tournament under the Flashback Gallery tab.  Also pictures have been posted on www.facebook.com by Kathy Amond Miller and Sharon Simpson. They are great pictures.

Thanks to all of you who stayed in town for the November Golf Tournament.  The next Golf outing will be April 21, 2012 at the Coyote Lakes Golf Course.  8:00 AM shot-gun start.  Pricing information will be provided soon.

If you are interested, contact George Thomas at gpthomas@usa.net for further information.

The Nice Girls got together in October and November and made pillow cases and blankets for a Family Homeless Shelter. Sandi Simon and Kathy Miller took the items to the shelter earlier this month and they say it was heartwarming to see how much everyone appreciated it. These shelters need personal items also, such as soaps, lotions, and shampoos.   I think we will try to make this a year long project.
